13th Annual North American Real Estate Equities Conference
We are pleased to invite our clients to the 13th Annual CIBC World Markets North American Real Estate Equities conference where an audience of over 400 North American Real Estate executives and investors meet and exchange ideas.
Our format this year should prove to be highly interactive, with four 45-minute panel discussions and an opportunity for questions and commentary from the floor.
Our luncheon keynote speaker is Ben Stein. Ben Stein is a commentator for FOX News and Yahoo! on finance, a commentator on human interest stories for CBS Sunday Morning, a commentator on retirement planning for PBS' Wall Street Week, a columnist on economics for The New York Times’ Sunday business section, and this just scratches the surface. Ben Stein has been a poverty lawyer for very poor people in New Haven, Connecticut, where he went to law school, a demonstrator for civil rights in Maryland, a trial lawyer on intellectual property issues, a university teacher on politics and the media, a speech writer for Presidents Nixon and Ford, a columnist for The Wall Street Journal, analyst of financial fraud for Barron's, frequent expert witness in complex securities fraud cases, law school teacher, and consultant on presidential campaigns. His securities work has been cited by a recent Nobel Prize winner in economics as inspiring. But you probably know him best for his long career on the big and small screen. He is the author of thirty books, including the major best seller How To Ruin Your Life and the more recent Can America Survive. He has been in dozens of movies and was a recurring character on The Wonder Years and on Star Search, but what he really likes best is speaking to people and meeting new friends.
In addition to the presentations, the conference offers opportunities for informal “one-on-on” discussions with the management of Canadian and U.S. prominent publicly traded real estate companies, money managers, pension funds and private investors.
